The Weekly WORD, 1/9 - 1/15

• There will be an abundance of Emilys on Tuesday, January 10 at 7 p.m, as Emily Books welcomes Emily Carter (Glory Goes and Gets Some). Carter will be in conversation with Marco Roth (n+1) about her book, which Emily Books promises “will make you involuntarily guffaw in many separate instances.”
• Maybe you know everything there is to know about the Nabokov family, maybe you didn’t even know that Vladimir had a brother. Either way, you should come out on Thursday, January 12 at 7 p.m., for Paul Russell (The Unreal Life of Sergey Nabokov), who will be in conversation with Christopher Bram (author of Gods and Monsters, which is indeed the book that got turned into the movie).
